I recently stayed at a lovely retreat nestled in nature. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to town by foot and offering breathtaking views from the deck. The host, Tim, was friendly and provided helpful recommendations for local activities. The chalet accommodations were cozy, clean, and well-maintained. I loved waking up to the sight of kangaroos grazing outside. the experience exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay here again.
The only minor drawback was the occasional lack of TV reception in the mornings.

The A-Frame Chalet was absolutely stunning, with jaw-dropping beauty that took our breath away. The close proximity to wildlife was mind-blowing, with kangaroos grazing right in the garden. The location was super convenient, just a stone's throw away from the Grampians National Park. The owner was incredibly lovely and welcoming, even greeting us with a deliciously cold bottle of wine. The chalet itself was spacious and fully furnished, with a luxurious bubble bath in the master bedroom. The bathroom was wonderfully spacious and the shower was great. The map provided at the property was a fantastic bonus, helping us plan our daily adventures. We couldn't have asked for a better host than Tim, who went out of his way to make sure we had a warm and comfortable stay. it was a fabulous weekend getaway, and we are already itching to come back for a longer stay. Highly recommended for a unforgettable experience!

Enjoyed the free Wi-Fi and the use of bicycles. Grilled some delicious food on the outdoor BBQ deck while soaking up the stunning views. MacKenzie Falls was just a short drive away, perfect for an adventurous day out.
Who needs a noisy library when you can hear everyone's business through the thin walls? So peaceful!

My recent stay at the A-Frame in Halls Gap was fantastic. The location was perfect, nestled in the heart of nature with kangaroos and emus roaming nearby. The house itself was spacious and had great facilities, including a full kitchen and a cozy backyard with a BBQ and fire pit. The complimentary wine on arrival was a pleasant surprise. I especially enjoyed exploring the area and the nearby boardwalk. I highly recommend this hotel for a nature-filled getaway.

Spacious and well-appointed accommodation, with a comfortable lounge room and good-sized bathroom. Great location with a nice outlook and a peaceful atmosphere. the property offered a lovely bottle of wine, which was a nice touch and added to the overall experience.
There was a misunderstanding regarding the bed arrangement, resulting in extra fees for additional linen. It would have been helpful to have emergency candles or a torch/lamp available during the blackout, as well as an off switch for the front porch light, which disturbed light-sensitive sleepers.

The main bedroom at The A-Frame was a dream come true. It had a spa bath where I could unwind and relax after a long day of hiking or just to chill. It was pure bliss!
The only downside for me was that the bathroom in the 2-bedroom chalet only had a shower. I personally prefer having a bath option, but I understand that others might still enjoy the shower.
